Tooth Bonding

Tooth Bonding

Tooth Bonding is both a cosmetic and restorative procedure involving the application of a color-matched, tooth-colored resin to cosmetically repair teeth. Tooth bonding repairs decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored teeth.

Tooth BondingTooth Bonding can be done in a single visit and is the easiest and least expensive approach to achieving a functional and cosmetic result.

The material used for tooth boding is a composite that will harden and actually fuse to the tooth when using a special light. The composite is shaped by Dr. Gomez and then applies color to match the rest of the patients teeth, finally it is polished until it is smooth and has all the feel of the original tooth.

The bonding process differs from dental veneers or overlays in that Dental Veneers require multiple office visits and require customized molds to be processed in our dental laboratory in order to achieve a perfect fit.

Tooth Bonding is typically used to improve the appearance of chipped or discolored teeth, close spaces between teeth and to lengthen and reshape tooth structure.
