Dental Emergency

Toothache (tooth pain) can signal a number of situations.  Injury to the tooth, advanced decay, infection, abscess or an exposed nerve are some of the reasons for tooth pain.  If you have a toothache, please contact us at 832.222.0016 for appointment.Toothache-in-Children

Cut or Bitten Tongue, Lip or Cheek

Usually a cold compress will help to reduce swelling and alleviate pain.  If there is persistent bleeding, it is best to be seen at your local emergency room asap.

Broken Tooth

A broken tooth can be caused by advanced decay that weakens the tooth, accidents, chewing hard objects, or trauma.  If possible, save the broken tooth in a glass of cool milk and bring it with you to the dental office.  Our doctors will determine the best course of treatment based upon the severity of injury and the remaining tooth structure.

Knocked Out Tooth

A knocked out tooth can potentially be saved.  If possible, rinse the tooth in milk and attempt to place the tooth back into the tooth socket.  If not possible to keep the tooth in the socket, place the tooth in a glass of milk to help the root survive.  Contact our office to be seen immediately at 832.222.0016.  Time is of the essence.
